About Us

Established in 2004, LandScope Engineering is one of the UK's leading surveying companies, specialising in integrated survey solutions above ground, below ground and underwater.

With over 20 years' experience, our team provides specialist surveying services across a wide range of sectors, combining technical expertise with innovative technologies to deliver reliable, efficient and high-quality survey solutions for our clients.

Part of the Celnor Group

Celnor Group is a UK-based environmental services group operating across the Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) landscape. With a growing portfolio of specialist businesses, Celnor provides essential services that protect people, property and the environment.

While each business retains its own identity, culture and technical specialism, all are supported by a central group function that invests in people, systems and long-term sustainable growth.

About the Role

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team in Shropshire.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of inshore, nearshore, port and harbour survey projects, typically delivered over days rather than extended offshore deployments. Reporting to the Senior Hydrographic Surveyor, you will play an active role in survey design, data acquisition, processing and project delivery while gaining exposure to a broad range of geospatial and geophysical technologies.

The position would suit an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor looking to broaden their technical expertise or a graduate seeking to build a diverse career within survey, geospatial and marine technologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
