Core sectors include aviation and rail infrastructure, civil engineering, BNG habitat projects, sports and golf courses, and private commercial and residential sites, using premium industry products to ensure long-term performance.

Hydroseeding Operator role based close to Surrey. The Hydroseeding Operator will operate specialist hydroseeding machinery and equipment, including truck-mounted and site-specific systems, to deliver grass establishment and erosion control solutions on a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing sites, mixing and applying hydroseeding materials, monitoring application quality, and following project specifications and safety protocols. The role involves working closely with site managers, engineers, and other team members to meet strict health, safety, access, and logistical requirements and to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high technical standards. The Hydroseeding Operator will also assist with basic equipment checks, defect reporting, and documentation related to site activities and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess practical skills in operating heavy or specialist plant, basic equipment maintenance, and safe handling of materials on construction or landscaping sites.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of hydroseeding or similar groundworks, including grass establishment, slope stabilization, erosion control, or habitat creation techniques.
  • Candidates should possess strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards, including safe systems of work and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions, coordinate with site teams, and maintain clear records of work completed.
  • Candidates should possess basic numeracy and literacy skills to interpret job sheets, measurements, and technical instructions, with attention to detail and reliability.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferably with experience driving vans or plant vehicles) and willingness to travel to sites as required.
  • Previous experience in civil engineering, landscaping, groundworks, or similar outdoor construction environments is beneficial.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCS card,
