The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Hygiene Shift Manager to lead a team of approximately 30 colleagues within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving excellent hygiene standards, ensuring full compliance, and maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- Lead, coach and develop a large hygiene team to deliver high standards across production and site areas
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, GMP, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Plan and manage daily and deep cleaning activities across equipment and facilities
- Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits, including customer visits
- Drive continuous improvement, KPIs and cost efficiencies across hygiene operations

The Ideal Candidate

- Proven experience in a hygiene leadership role within food manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong knowledge of food safety, GMP and hygiene standards
- Experience managing and motivating large teams in a fast-paced environment
- Food Hygiene qualification (Level 3 or above preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
