The Role
As Hygiene Manager, you’ll lead all hygiene activities following daily production, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, health & safety, compliance and operational performance.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll provide visible leadership to Team Leaders and colleagues, while working closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, Maintenance, HR and the wider Site Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily, weekly and monthly hygiene activities
- Coach and develop Team Leaders and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, BRC, Tesco and legal requirements
- Use data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Lead on health & safety, risk management and safe working practices
- Work cross-functionally to improve standards, equipment reliability and performance
- Support Noble Foods’ sustainability, inclusion and wellbeing objectives
About you:
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience leading a hygiene department within food manufacturing, poultry or a regulated environment
- Strong people leadership and performance management experience
- Good knowledge of COSHH, HACCP, food safety and hygiene requirements
- Experience working to BRC and Tesco standards
- Strong communication, influencing and decision-making skills
- Relevant leadership training, with HACCP Level 2 and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) completed or a willingness to achieve them
