Hygiene Manager
Are you an experienced Hygiene Manager looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Food to Go operation in Aylesbury, leading all hygiene activities across the site and driving the highest standards of food safety, compliance and operational excellence.
As Hygiene Manager, you will lead and develop a hygiene team responsible for maintaining exemplary hygiene standards across production areas, equipment and facilities. You'll play a key role in supporting food safety culture, audit readiness, continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with customer, legal and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site hygiene operations, cleaning schedules and hygiene standards across the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, retailer and legislative food safety standards while supporting HACCP, TACCP and VACCP programmes.
- Develop, coach and motivate hygiene supervisors and operatives, creating a strong food safety and hygiene culture.
- Manage environmental monitoring programmes, hygiene validation activities and improvement projects to drive performance.
- Control hygiene budgets, chemical usage and resources while identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability improvements.

About You

- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a hygiene leadership role within food manufacturing.
- Experience leading hygiene teams in a high-care or manufacturing environment.
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification as a minimum, with HACCP Level 3 certification.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological risks, environmental monitoring and BRCGS standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for continuous improvement.
