Hygiene Manager
Location: Leeds
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
We are working with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Hygiene Manager to take ownership of hygiene standards across the site.
This is a key role responsible for leading the hygiene team, maintaining high food safety and GMP standards, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage the site hygiene team.
- Own hygiene systems, schedules, risk assessments, and standards.
- Ensure consistently high hygiene, food safety, and GMP standards.
- Manage pest control and waste systems.
- Support customer and third-party audits.
- Deliver hygiene training, coaching, and competency assessments.
- Lead hygiene investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Manage hygiene labor and consumable budgets.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years' hygiene experience within food manufacturing.
- Level 3 HACCP, including HACCP team experience.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene management systems, allergens, pest control, and waste management.
- Proven people leadership and coaching experience.
- The ability to influence across all levels and drive high standards.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to continuous improvement.
