Hourly Rate: £15.92
Hours: 9pm to 5.30am Panama Shift
Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and creating a safe, clean working environment? We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Hygiene Operative to help ensure our factory remains clean, safe, and ready for production at all times.
As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in protecting food safety, supporting production operations, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards across our site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning factory machinery, equipment, and production areas in line with cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout the factory.
- Safely using cleaning chemicals and reporting any concerns when required.
- Ensuring PPE is worn, maintained, and kept in good condition.
- Disposing of waste correctly and following waste segregation procedures.
- Completing hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately.
- Reporting any hygiene, food safety, equipment, or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Working safely at all times and following all company policies and procedures.
- Supporting colleagues across production, engineering, and technical teams to maintain a safe working environment.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing, or factory environment.
- Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Good understanding of hygiene standards and cleaning procedures.
- Awareness of chemical safety and PPE requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines.
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Comfortable working in a physically active role.
- A team player who is committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace.
