Job Description
We are now recruiting for a Hygiene Operative - Day for our Culina Aylesford site on a full-time and permanent position.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team on a day shift basis in Aylesford, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The successful candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to upholding health and safety protocols whilst delivering a professional service.
- Carry out daily cleaning and sanitisation duties across all designated areas, including offices, communal spaces, and facilities
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and organizational procedures
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent standards of hygiene
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate supervisor
- Segregate and dispose of waste materials in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and materials used
- Adhere to all health and safety legislation and organizational policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any concerns or updates
- Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely and securely
- Contribute to a safe and hygienic working environment for all staff and visitors

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a cleaning or hygiene operative role (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and materials
- Understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Desirable knowledge of health and safety compliance standards
- Customer service orientation and professional demeanour
