Hygiene Operative – Kettle Crisps

Working 3 on 3 off shifts, 12 hour days

Salary: £27,257.15

About the Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our production environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your work directly supports our goals in health & safety, food safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency — all while helping to strengthen the Kettle brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Safely handle, store, and use chemicals in line with COSHH and HAZOP requirements.
  • Carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with established hygiene procedures and systems, meeting both internal and customer expectations.
  • Provide timely and accurate cleaning support to production areas, ensuring equipment is delivered clean, on time, and ready for use.
  • Identify any skills gaps and proactively seek training and development opportunities to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to hygiene and safety.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in a food production or hygiene role is ideal, together with knowledge of packaging machines
