Job Opportunity: Hygiene Operator
To support our operations, we are currently seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented Hygiene Operator for our 4 On 4 Off shift pattern. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Working hours: 6AM-6PM - 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern
Hourly Rate: £13.02/hour
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning and sanitation tasks in production and processing areas according to established hygiene protocols
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following all health and safety guidelines
- Document cleaning activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Monitor and report any maintenance requirements in relation to cleaning equipment and facilities
- Work collaboratively with production staff to help maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Participate in training and development programs to ensure a thorough understanding of hygiene standards and practices
- Adhere to all company policies, including health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within a food production environment is preferred
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning and chemicals
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict hygiene protocols
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration purposes
- Flexibility to work a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, which may involve lifting and standing for extended periods
