Hygiene Steward
Do you take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene? Are you motivated by supporting food safety, quality and compliance while playing an important part in the production of products enjoyed by millions of consumers?
At Samworth Brothers, hygiene is fundamental to everything we do. As a Hygiene Steward, you will play a vital role in helping maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment. Working as part of the hygiene and operational teams, you will support cleaning activities, ensure hygiene standards are maintained and contribute to the production of safe, high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operational areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
- Follow hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures at all times
- Safely use cleaning equipment, tools and chemicals in accordance with site requirements
- Support deep cleaning and scheduled hygiene activities
- Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately
- Report hygiene concerns, equipment issues or damage promptly

- Having HACCP training and experience of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene would be an advantage
- You will have the ability to follow procedures and work instructions accurately
- As part of a small team you must be able to work well as part of a team
- You will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work safely and responsibly at all times
