Hygiene Supervisor

Are you an experienced Hygiene Team Leader or Hygiene Supervisor looking for your next challenge within a successful food manufacturing business?
We're working with a well-established and growing food manufacturer that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and operational excellence.
The Role
- Supervise and support hygiene teams to ensure all cleaning activities are completed safely, effectively and to the highest standards
- Drive a culture of hygiene excellence, food safety and continuous improvement across the site
- Monitor hygiene performance, ensuring cleaning schedules, audits and deep-clean programmes are completed effectively
- Support the implementation of site hygiene strategies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standards
- Coach, train and develop team members, helping to build a motivated and high-performing team
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and environmental requirements
- Work closely with Technical, Production and Engineering teams to support operational objectives
- Support the management of third-party hygiene contractors where required
- Ensure all hygiene documentation and records are completed accurately and maintained to the required standard

About You

- Previous experience in a Hygiene Supervisor, Hygiene Team Leader or similar position within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
