Dental Hygienist Opportunity-Direct Access
Minimum two days per week to begin with, could expand to more.
Are you an experienced Dental Hygienist looking to join a specialist periodontal practice with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centred care?
Al-Fa Perio is seeking a confident, motivated, and patient-focused Hygienist to join our growing specialist team within a modern private practice environment.

About The Role
This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys working independently while being supported by an experienced specialist team.
You will primarily focus on:
- Direct Access hygiene appointments
- Periodontal maintenance and therapy
- Preventive dentistry and oral health education
- Airflow and advanced hygiene treatments
- Implant maintenance support
- Building patient confidence through exceptional care and communication
You will have the opportunity to work with a well-established private patient base with strong demand for ongoing periodontal and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care within your GDC scope of practice
- Deliver comprehensive periodontal treatment and maintenance
- Educate and motivate patients on oral health and prevention
- Carry out Airflow polishing and advanced hygiene treatments
- Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of patient care
- Work closely with the specialist team to support patient outcomes
- Build strong patient relationships through excellent communication and professionalism

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is GDC registered as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist
- Has experience working within private dentistry
- Is confident in providing Direct Access hygiene care
- Has a strong interest in periodontal and preventive dentistry
- Is professional, caring, and patient-focused
- Communicates confidently and works well within a team
- Takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience
