We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Hyper-V Consultant to support the deployment and validation of a new Microsoft Hyper-V environment. Working alongside the customer's technical team, you will assist with the implementation, testing, and handover of a highly available Hyper-V infrastructure.
The project is expected to run for approximately one month and will follow a hybrid working model. Candidates will be required to attend the client site in the Cheshire area of the North West, so should be comfortable with this arrangement. Please note that this role falls inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Hyper-V hosts
- Configure virtual Switches and networking
- Validate storage connectivity
- Build and configure Windows Failover Clusters
- Configure cluster quorum
- Create and test virtual machines
- Demonstrate VM failover between hosts
- Configure and validate Hyper-V Replica
- Troubleshoot deployment issues
- Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer

Essential Experience:
- Strong Hyper-V administration and deployment experience
- Windows Server and Failover Clustering expertise
- Enterprise networking knowledge
- Shared storage/SAN experience
- Hyper-V Replica and disaster recovery experience
- Previous infrastructure implementation consultancy experience
