Position Summary
Main Job Functions
To work as part of the local IT team in Grimsby supporting the system, software, hardware, network and users.
Principle Accountabilities
Duties, Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Create and support internal reports for other areas of the business.
- Create and support internal applications.
- Responding to 1st Line user support tickets.
- Day to day support and maintenance of networks and equipment.
- Provide support to IT and/or business process improvements installation and setup of equipment.
- Assist in setting up workstations and user profiles for new employees.
- Assist in setting up mobile phones and shopfloor scanners.
- Working with backend systems and IP addresses.
- Software image installs.
- IT Administration.
- Liaise with Continental support – competence centres.
- Support of Shopfloor and lab equipment.
- Work towards completing a formal qualification (Level 3 IT Solutions Technician)

Qualifications
Experience Required
- Experience with a networked computer system and programming would be preferred but not essential.
- Experience with 1st line user support and creating support tickets.
Knowledge Required
- Respecting confidentiality.
- Knowledge of programming tools.
- Knowledge of Office 365 tools.
- Knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- 5 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) 1 must be a computer related subject.
- Interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Willingness to enrol on relevant qualification-based course, People orientated.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to focus and complete tasks to given deadlines.
- Willingness to enrol on relevant courses or training.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Committed to solving problems.
- Open to new ideas and keen to learn.
