Role Description
This is a freelance, case-by-case role for an IAA Level 3–accredited Immigration Adviser. You will be instructed on individual matters and engaged specifically to handle asylum and human rights appeals at the First-tier Tribunal.
Duties will include
- Handling asylum and human rights appeals to the First-tier Tribunal
- Preparing grounds of appeal
- Drafting appeal skeleton arguments
- Compiling appellants’ bundles
- Providing advocacy at tribunal hearings
Work will be assigned per case, with flexibility on location. Representation at hearings will be required where instructed.

Qualifications and Experience Required
- IAA Level 3 accreditation in Asylum and Immigration (Essential)
- Proven experience in asylum and human rights appeals
- Experience with First-tier Tribunal advocacy
- Strong drafting and advocacy skills
- In-depth knowledge of Immigration Issues, including asylum law and refugee protection
- Understanding of Immigration Policy
