About the Company
A well-known enterprise in the UK is looking for an IAM Architect, with excellent architectural experience with Okta.
About the Role
One role, immediate start, outside IR35. 1 year initial contract.
Responsibilities
- Design how user populations are defined and what attributes sit against them
- Set the profile schema and map attributes from source systems into Universal Directory
- Build the group rules and group strategy so access follows the attribute data
- Design the application assignment model across the app estate
- Set the provisioning approach: joiner, mover, leaver flows and SCIM to downstream apps
- Onboard applications to SSO using SAML and OIDC
- Handle Active Directory integration and directory co-existence
- Produce the design documentation and take it through architecture governance

Qualifications
- Okta at architect level, not administration
- Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management and group rules hands on
- Attribute and profile design on a large estate
- SCIM provisioning and app onboarding at volume
- SAML and OIDC federation
- Active Directory and hybrid directory experience
- Able to write a design and defend it in front of governance
