IAM Business Analyst
Location: London, UK (3 Days onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Inside IR35 (No Sponsorship)
Job Description
Job Summary
The IAM Business Analyst will support the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-level identity and access management solutions. This role involves gathering requirements, documenting IAM processes, analyzing user entitlements, supporting access governance activities, and collaborating with technical IAM engineering teams to ensure secure and compliant access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and document business requirements for IAM and access governance projects.
- Analyze identity lifecycle processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain the role model (RBAC/ABAC) and ensure least-privilege access.
- Support periodic access reviews, Segregation of Duties (SoD) checks, and audit activities.
- Work with IAM engineering teams to integrate applications into SSO/MFA platforms.
- Create BRDs, FSDs, process maps, user stories, and UAT scripts.
- Perform data analysis on user access, entitlements, and role assignments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as application owners, security teams, and auditors.
- Ensure IAM processes comply with standards like SOX, ISO27001, GDPR, and internal policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in IAM and Cybersecurity.
- Experience with identity governance platforms (Okta, PingOne).
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, directory services.
- Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and technical specs.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
