IAM Delivery Consultant

£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits

MUST Hold Active SC Clearance

UK-Wide | Hybrid Working

A leading digital transformation and cybersecurity consultancy is looking to expand its growing Identity & Access Management (IAM) practice with the appointment of an experienced IAM Delivery Consultant.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established team delivering complex identity programmes for some of the UK's most security-conscious organisations. You'll work across strategy, design, advisory and delivery engagements, helping clients modernise their digital identity capabilities and strengthen their security posture. The role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK, with hybrid working and travel to client sites as required by project demands.

The Role:

As an IAM Delivery Consultant, you'll work closely with clients to understand their current identity landscape, define future-state requirements and deliver practical solutions that improve security, governance and user experience.

You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through to architecture, implementation and transformation.

Projects span key IAM disciplines including:

  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
  • Access Management
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Enterprise Identity
  • Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and defining IAM business and technical requirements
  • Advising clients on IAM strategy, operating models and transformation programmes
  • Designing IAM solutions, architectures and governance frameworks
  • Supporting or leading IAM technology implementations
  • Driving process improvements across identity lifecycle management and access governance
  • Working with senior stakeholders across security, technology and business functions
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of IAM programmes from inception through to deployment
  • Helping clients adopt best practices across digital identity and access management

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within Identity & Access Management
  • Active SC Clearance and Sole British Nationality
  • Proven experience delivering IAM consultancy, advisory or transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, frameworks and industry best practices
  • Experience developing IAM Target Operating Models and associated processes
  • Experience designing IAM solutions and architecture
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical IAM solutions

Technology Experience

  • Desirable:
    • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
    • Ping Identity
    • Okta
    • SailPoint
    • Saviynt
    • CyberArk
    • BeyondTrust
  • Experience with other modern IAM, IGA, PAM or CIAM technologies will also be considered.

Certifications

  • Hands-on practitioner, engineering or architect-level certifications in IAM technologies are highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.
