IAM Engineer – Onboarding, SailPoint, IAM, Java, Python/PowerShell, Integrations, Stakeholder Engagement – Financial Services – Contract - Up to £730p.d Inside IR35
My client, a leading Financial Markets organisation is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join its Technology team on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Hands-On onboarding of applications onto the corporate IAM platform, selecting the most appropriate integration approach and validating technical requirements received from business stakeholders. Working closely with IAM Subject Matter Experts and project teams, they will ensure requirements are captured, documented, tested, and successfully deployed into production.

The role includes:
- Developing and deploying IAM connectors across development and production environments
- Producing high-quality change documentation
- Resolving issues relating to existing integrations
- Maintaining technical documentation and processes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with a broad range of Cyber Security, technology, and business stakeholders
- Actively participating in Agile delivery activities
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience onboarding applications onto enterprise IAM platforms using methods such as SailPoint connectors, Active Directory groups, and CSV-based integrations.
- Experience producing Change Requests and implementing controlled production changes.
- Strong requirements gathering, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary IT and Cyber Security teams.
- Ability to define technical processes and produce clear technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
