IAM Engineer (SC Cleared)

London

Hybrid (Minimum 2 Days Onsite)

£60,000-£65,000 + Benefits

Our client is a leading cyber security consultancy specialising in secure cloud adoption, Zero Trust architecture and Microsoft security solutions. Working with major Government and Enterprise organisations, they help customers modernise securely whilst maintaining the highest standards of governance and compliance.

As part of a growing Identity function, they are looking for an IAM Engineer to support and enhance Identity and Access Management services across a Microsoft-focused estate.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of identity services, ensuring secure access to critical systems whilst supporting governance, compliance and ongoing security improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments
  • Manage Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes
  • Handle access requests and permissions changes
  • Support access reviews and entitlement management
  • Work closely with Security and Infrastructure teams
  • Act as a 2nd line escalation point for identity-related issues
  • Help automate processes using PowerShell
  • Support Zero Trust and least-privilege initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience within IAM or IDAM operations
  • Strong Active Directory and Entra ID knowledge
  • Understanding of RBAC and access governance
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles
  • SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
