Identity & Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM) SME, Contract / Interim - Inside IR35, 6-12 months
We’re working with a major UK organisation looking to bring in an experienced Identity & Access Management / Privileged Access Management specialist on a contract basis.
The environment spans both corporate IT and operational technology, so we’re looking for someone with strong, well-rounded IAM/PAM expertise who can work across complex technical environments.
You'll work across security, architecture and project teams, providing specialist input and assurance around the design and implementation of IAM and PAM capabilities.

The work will include:
- IAM/PAM architecture and design assurance
- Identity lifecycle and Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes
- Privileged access for technical and third-party users
- Supporting the evolution of identity capabilities and roadmaps
- Working through different access journeys across corporate, technical and operational users
- Challenging designs and working with stakeholders to land practical, secure solutions
I'm particularly interested in people with strong hands-on knowledge of IAM and PAM principles, architecture and implementation.

Experience within OT, Critical National Infrastructure or other operational environments would be a strong advantage, particularly if you understand the different identity challenges presented by corporate IT, IT-for-OT and true OT environments.
Just as importantly, you'll need to communicate well. Identity controls affect how people work, so this needs someone who can challenge, negotiate and explain security requirements without losing sight of the user experience.
