Role/Team overview
Cyber Security
Our products, platforms and technologies are constantly evolving that’s why keeping Sky safe from cyber-attacks is one of our top priorities. Our Cyber Security team helps the business grow while protecting our customers, colleagues and partners from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Our team includes Cyber Fusion Centre, Security Services, Risk and Compliance, Programme Delivery and Business Security, and we work across the UK, Italy and Germany. Join us and you’ll get involved in tackling challenges and future threats in an ever-changing cyber landscape.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for delivering and maintaining Sky’s corporate IAM technology services, enabling secure provisioning and governance of user identities and entitlements across Sky Group (UK, Italy, and Germany).
What you’ll do
As IAM Platform Manager, you will own and manage the One Identity Manager (OIM) platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and alignment with Sky’s IAM strategy. Reporting to the Head of IAM, you will lead the platform roadmap, oversee upgrades and feature adoption, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to optimize identity lifecycle processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) and deliver a best-in-class IAM experience.
This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise in OIM, platform governance, and stakeholder management, combined with a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
