Are you an experienced Technical Lead with a passion for Identity & Access Management (IAM), cloud security, and large-scale transformation programmes?
We're seeking a highly capable Technical Lead to play a pivotal role in a major enterprise IAM transformation. This is an opportunity to help redefine how identity services are delivered across a complex, global organisation, implementing modern Identity-first and Zero Trust principles at scale.
You'll be responsible for driving technical strategy, architecture, and delivery across a next-generation IAM programme, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient identity services that underpin critical business operations worldwide.
The Opportunity
As Technical Lead, you will own the technical direction for a strategic IAM workstream, guiding architecture, engineering teams, and stakeholders through the design and delivery of enterprise-grade identity solutions.
Working closely with architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders, you'll be responsible for ensuring solutions are secure, operationally robust, and aligned to long-term business objectives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys influencing technical direction, and has a strong background in identity technologies, security engineering, and enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical solution for a strategic IAM workstream.
- Define and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Solution Designs.
- Lead technical decision-making and technology selection.
- Drive the adoption of Zero Trust and Identity-first design principles.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Review architecture, code, infrastructure, and deployment designs.
- Coordinate technical delivery across multiple teams and third-party suppliers.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
- Support project planning, estimation, and delivery governance.
- Champion engineering excellence, automation, DevSecOps, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, operationally supportable, and scalable.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Significant Experience leading complex IAM or cybersecurity technology programmes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-scale Identity & Access Management.
- Proven Experience delivering technical solutions within large, complex organisations.
- Strong architectural design and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong understanding of risk, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments.
