IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Tutor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Tutor to join our team.
This is a part-time, fully online teaching opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can provide engaging, structured, and personalized TOK support to IB students. The candidate will help students develop their critical thinking, construct well-reasoned arguments, and build confidence in approaching TOK assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) tutoring to students preparing for their IB assessments.
- Developing and delivering engaging, interactive, and effective lessons tailored to the individual needs and learning goals of each student.
- Supporting students in developing their critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills through discussion and exploration of different perspectives.
- Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Providing guidance and support with TOK assessments, including the TOK Exhibition and TOK Essay.
- Communicating and collaborating with parents to ensure students receive the highest level of academic support.
- Staying up to date with IB curriculum developments, assessment requirements, and current educational practices.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring IB students, with a proven track record of supporting students in achieving their academic goals. University students in their second year or above with strong IB experience and subject knowledge are also welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the IB curriculum, with a particular understanding of Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and connect effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in designing and delivering engaging learning experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to tailor teaching approaches to individual students' needs and learning styles.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
