Jensten is looking for an experienced IBA Cash Technician

Jensten are looking for an experienced IBA Cash Technician to join our growing Finance team and support our network of Coversure Franchise offices across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with insurance broking accounts and client money experience who enjoys tackling complex reconciliations, building strong relationships and ensuring the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance. You'll play a vital role in supporting our franchises, helping to maintain robust financial controls while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team that forms the heartbeat of our finance function. Although our head office is based in Huntingdon, this role can be fully remote, with the option to work from any of our regional hubs across the UK if preferred.

Some Key Objectives & Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing client money reconciliations and investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensuring unallocated cash is kept to a minimum through proactive query management and issue resolution.
  • Supporting effective credit control processes, including the timely management of aged debt.
  • Assisting with Client Money audits and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with CASS 5 requirements and FCA client money regulations.
  • Working closely with franchise offices and internal stakeholders to provide support and guidance on IBA-related matters.

About You:

As our IBA Cash Technician, you'll have experience managing complex client money reconciliations within an insurance broking environment. You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with large volumes of financial data, while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.

You'll Also Have:

  • Experience working with CASS 5 and FCA Client Money regulations.
  • A strong understanding of IBA procedures, with knowledge of Acturis and other insurance broking systems desirable.
  • The ability to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities in a remote environment.
