The Role
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our IBA team.
Based in our London office, this role will work collaboratively with the IBA team managing all aspects of banking, including initiating bank transfers, ensuring that monies are successfully accounted for, log receipts, initiating internal transfers between entities and payments to markets, amongst other IBA responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and shape Oneglobal’s growing international network of offices. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be organised, able to multi-task and be confident in suggesting process improvements.

Key Accountabilities
- Analysis of bank receipts and payments and accurate and timely processing of related entries on the company accounting system
- Reconciliation of cash receipts and payments with accounting entries
- Processing payments to clients (premiums and claims), markets and third parties using the company bank’s internet system – premiums and claims within agreed deadlines to ensure client satisfaction
- Involved in the preparation of daily IBA bank reconciliations
- Dealing with foreign currency and exchange issues
- Run standard and ad-hoc accounting reports, as necessary
- Responsible for unidentified cash, liaising with colleagues, external parties and banks to resolve
Skills & Knowledge
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Organised and able to prioritise/re-prioritise due to constantly changing circumstances
- Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Accurate and strong attention to detail
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent attitude and eagerness to develop in the role
- Previous experience within insurance would be desirable
