Marketing Executive (Events & Webinars) — 13-month FTC, Maternity Cover

Aviation data & consultancy · Leatherhead, Surrey · Hybrid (2 days in office) · Up to £35,000

Our client, an award-winning independent aviation data and consultancy business, is looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive to cover a maternity leave for 13 months, starting around November.

This is a broad marketing role with events and webinars at its core. You'll plan and run B2B industry events and webinars end to end, from logistics and speaker coordination through to promotion and follow-up. Around that sits content marketing, organic and paid social (mainly LinkedIn), email campaigns, a bit of podcast and video production, and keeping the CRM tidy. It's a small, close-knit marketing team where you genuinely own your work rather than wait for sign-off on everything.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What the role really needs:

  • Exceptional organisation. There's often an event a week alongside webinars and day-to-day content, so staying on top of it all is the main thing.
  • Events experience, even if you've supported events rather than run them and are ready to step up.
  • Around 2 years in a marketing role, ideally B2B.
  • Confident writing and scheduling content, and happy to pick up new tools as you go.

You won't need every tool under the sun. Familiarity with the likes of HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, WordPress or a webinar platform (ON24 or similar) is a bonus, but we care more about the right person than a checklist.
