🚀 Hiring: IBM AIX Infrastructure Administrator (15+ Years Experience) 📍 Location: Warwick, UK (Hybrid) 🕒 Start Date: Immediate 💼 Employment Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced IBM AIX Infrastructure Administrator with 15+ years of experience managing enterprise Compute, Storage, and Backup environments in large-scale, mission-critical organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support IBM AIX servers, LPARs, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Manage PowerVM, HMC, VIO Servers, NIM, LPM, NPIV, and SAN storage integration.
- Configure and maintain PowerHA SystemMirror clusters and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform OS patching, firmware upgrades, security hardening, and capacity planning.
- Manage enterprise backup solutions such as IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), Veeam, or Commvault.
- Participate in DR planning, restoration testing, and hardware refresh/migration projects.
- Develop automation scripts using UNIX Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and security standards.

- 15+ years of IBM AIX administration experience.
- Strong expertise in PowerVM, HMC, LPAR, VIO, NIM, PowerHA, NPIV, SAN Storage.
- Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms.
- Hands-on experience with hardware/firmware upgrades and migrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis skills.
- Scripting experience with Shell, Perl, or Python.
