IBM Maximo Experts:
Client: TBC
Duration: 8-10 months + chance of extensions
Location: Potential for fully remote work, with optional/beneficial onsite time at the Derby office (hybrid working: 1–2 days on-site per week)
Note: We currently hold exclusive access to this role, but it will be opening up to the wider market short-term. Early submissions will receive priority review.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Technical Experts to drive a major infrastructure and platform modernization project. You will play a key role in migrating a legacy IBM Maximo environment from physical infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, transitioning the database from Oracle to IBM Db2, upgrading Maximo from v7 to IBM Maximo Application Suite (v9.2), and updating Cognos reporting suites within a RedHat OpenShift cluster environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and execute the technical end-to-end migration of legacy IBM Maximo (v7) to IBM MAS (v9.2) on Microsoft Azure and RedHat OpenShift.
- Lead the database migration strategy from Oracle to IBM Db2.
- Modernize and upgrade legacy Cognos reporting structures to align with the new IBM Maximo framework.
- Work closely with engineering and technical delivery teams to ensure seamless cloud integration and operational stability.

Core Requirements & Qualifications:
- Technical Stack: IBM Maximo (v7 to v9.2 / MAS), RedHat OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, IBM Db2, Oracle DB, and IBM Cognos Analytics.
- Experience: Proven track record in complex enterprise IBM Maximo upgrades, database migrations, and cloud/containerization deployments.
- Clearance: Must hold an active UK Security Clearance.
