An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Lead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking Band 7 Clinical Nurse Lead to join our Clinical Triage Service at SWFT.
About the Role
This key clinical leadership role provides clinical oversight, support, and guidance to the triage team, ensuring patients receive safe, timely, and appropriate care. The service reviews referrals, supports clinical decision-making, prioritises patient need, and ensures individuals are directed to the right service at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day clinical oversight
- Support staff with complex triage decisions
- Promote consistent and robust processes
- Maintain high standards of care
- Work closely with the Operational Professional Lead and Locality Manager to support the effective running and development of the service
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit, supervision, and staff support

Requirements
- Registered Nurse with substantial acute/urgent/frailty experience of managing patients with complex needs
- Holding advanced clinical assessment skills
- Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Approachable, organized, and proactive
- Lead by example and maintain effective clinical oversight
