About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust Resilience team as Resilience Manager for Integrated Contact Centres. Reporting to the Head of Contingency Planning, the post holder will work alongside other Resilience Managers and Officers across areas including ICC, business continuity, quality assurance and improvement, and Local Resilience Forum area cover.
Responsibilities
The role supports the Trust in meeting its duties under the Civil Contingencies Act and NHS England EPRR Core Standards. Working with internal teams including Operations, Integrated Contact Centres, Risk, Estates and Digital, the post holder will help ensure robust plans, arrangements and assurance processes are in place to support patient and staff safety during complex and major incidents.

The post also involves inter-agency liaison and decision making on behalf of NWAS in relation to Integrated Emergency Management. This includes risk assessment, contingency planning, validating emergency arrangements, and supporting the design and delivery of multi-agency training and exercises. The post holder will provide specialist advice to statutory and third sector partners on NWAS response arrangements, multi-agency operations and planned or emerging events.
As a National Inter-agency Liaison Officer, the post holder will provide specialist tactical and operational advice to NWAS commanders and partner agencies. They will be expected to maintain the required competencies in line with National Occupational Standards and participate in the Trust NILO on-call rota.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
