Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping children?
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a temporary part-time Occupational Therapist to join our ICELS team. This role offers up to 30 hours a week, with flexible working days to be agreed upon. You will play a vital role in our clinical team while our current postholder is on a career break until September 2027.
As An Occupational Therapist, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Reviewing requests for specialist equipment and minor adaptations.
- Providing expert advice to prescribers and service providers.
- Researching products and checking inventory in our warehouses.
- Answering queries and delivering training to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborating with team members to catalogue items effectively.
- Embracing a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to improve equipment outcomes for our clients.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Need
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
- A solid understanding of community care services and relevant legislation.
- Experience in equipment provision for children is highly desirable.
