ICP Estimator
Knebworth
Hybrid - 3 days office/2 days from home
Full time/permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to join one of the UK's leading ICP's. We are looking for someone who is motivated, highly organised and super efficient!
This role will create tender submissions for Electrical & Civils Works that are completed as part of our full turnkey service offering. Our customer spans across Charge Point Operators, Commercial Property Developers, Residential House Builders & any other businesses requiring grid connections throughout the UK.
This position will be based at our Head Office in Knebworth, Hertfordshire with flexible working also available following successful completion of your probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Completion of detailed tender submissions / agreeing final tender bids with the Tendering Manager
- Evaluation of tender enquiry documentation to ensure all relevant and correct information has been provided
- Maintain excellent working relationships with new and existing clients
- Attending Pre-Construction handover meetings upon project award when bids are successful and purchase orders have been issued
- Measuring designs using appropriate tools to ensure accurate take offs are recorded
- Ensure internal tendering trackers are up-to-date
- Update of existing tender submissions if changes are required or expiry date has lapsed
- Obtain accurate sub-contractor / materials rates
- Ensure customer expectations are met and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Estimator ideally within an ICP or Electrical Utilities
- Experience working with suppliers and procurement teams to secure competitive and long-term pricing
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple quotations to deadlines
- Capable of producing accurate work to a consistently high standard
