About the opportunity

The ICP Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of electrical infrastructure projects within an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) environment. The role is accountable for managing projects from initial acceptance through to construction, energisation, and final handover, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Please note: We are open to UK wide applications, and happy to offer a fully remote working pattern for this opportunity.

What you'll do

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This is a high throughput role where you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage commercial, technical, operational, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and financial performance whilst driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful delivery of multiple ICP projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Act as the primary customer interface, managing client expectations and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, commercial and construction activities.
  • Liaise with DNOs, IDNOs, local authorities, and other statutory bodies to secure approvals and project milestones.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and change management.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of project delivery best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
