Job Purpose

The ICSS Engineer will be responsible for supporting the engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) for an FPSO project. The role will work closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure the ICSS systems are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ICSS engineering activities throughout the FPSO project lifecycle.
  • Review and develop ICSS engineering documentation, specifications, drawings, and system architecture.
  • Coordinate with DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, and other control systems.
  • Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Support FAT, SAT, loop checking, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of ICSS-related technical issues.
  • Coordinate interfaces between ICSS and other disciplines/systems.
  • Ensure engineering and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.

  • Degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in ICSS/DCS/ESD/F&G systems.
  • Experience in FPSO, offshore, or Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
