Job Description

As part of the NDA group Graduate Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across the organisations that make up the NDA group, working in a variety of teams, locations, and environments. You'll contribute to meaningful work that has a lasting impact, helping to support the safe, secure, and sustainable management of the UK's nuclear legacy. Along the way, you'll learn from industry experts, build valuable networks, and develop a broad range of technical, professional, and behavioral skills that will prepare you for a successful career in the nuclear sector.

Alongside your placements, you'll take part in the NDA group Graduate Development Programme, designed to accelerate your personal and professional growth. Where relevant, you'll be supported to achieve professional accreditation, registration, or chartership. With guidance from experienced professionals, mentors, and programme stakeholders, you'll gain the knowledge, confidence, and capability needed to thrive across the NDA group and make a meaningful contribution to the future of the UK's nuclear industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

The ICT and Digital Job Family enables the NDA group to harness technology, information, and digital innovation to support the safe, secure, and sustainable delivery of its mission. Professionals within this family develop, maintain, and improve the systems, services, and digital capabilities that underpin one of the UK's most complex environmental programmes.

The Architecture teams are responsible for designing and developing the organisation's IT and digital systems, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and are scalable, efficient, and secure. This subfamily focuses on creating solutions that meet business needs while integrating new technologies and systems.

As an ICT Architecture Graduate, you will help shape the technology solutions that support one of the UK's most complex and nationally important environmental missions. Architecture is about understanding how people, processes, data, and technology work together to deliver effective outcomes. On this pathway, you will develop the ability to see the bigger picture, supporting decisions about technology investment, transformation, and innovation across the NDA group.

Working alongside experienced architects and wider business stakeholders, you will learn how complex IT and digital systems are designed, integrated, and improved. You may contribute to activities such as analysing business requirements, developing solution options, supporting technology roadmaps, reviewing emerging technologies, and helping ensure systems are secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
