Overview
PM Group is an international project delivery company operating across Europe, the USA and Asia. We provide project management, process design, facility design, construction management, and commissioning and qualification services for our leading multinational clients.
At present, we are looking for a number of Intermediate ICT Designers to join our Building Controls & ICT team. You will be supporting high scale projects designing ICT infrastructures in sectors like Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Medical Technologies and many more. This role offers flexible working arrangements this includes working from different PM Group offices.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the ICT lead, managing, coordinating and producing ICT designs
- Analysing complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions.
- Supporting the project through its lifecycle from concept to construction support, this includes site visits.
- ICT system walk downs and generation of ICT punch lists working alongside CQV.
- Providing support to fee and capital budget proposals as required.
- Assembling and managing bid, approval, and construction issue of ICT packages in an efficient and lean manner.
- Attending and participating in client and PM Group meetings.
- Producing up to date ICT Designs to incorporate the following systems:
- Containment
- Copper & Fibre Cabling
- Racks
- ICT Room Design
- Wireless (ROIP, DAS, WIFI, DECT, RF)
- LANs
- AV
- Power, Cooling & Earthing
- Fire Stopping & Suppression
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents.
- Ability to develop scope documentation for FEED (Front End Engineering Design), concept and basis of design and detailed design documents is preferable.
- Strong awareness of telecommunications industry standards (American & European) is desired.
- Have professional approach and demeanour. A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent desirable.
- 5+ years of formal experience in ICT engineering design.
- Chartered or working towards it.
The following are also preferable, but not essential:
- RCDD Certified
- CNET Certified (CDCDP, CNIDP)
- Ability to work within BIM environment (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD)
