Xentrall Shared Services, a successful partnership between Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington Borough Councils, is looking for a Network Engineer to join our award-winning ICT Platform Team.
You'll play a key role in supporting and developing the network infrastructure that enables thousands of users across local government and public sector organisations to deliver vital services every day.
🔧 What you'll be working with:
- Enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Routing, switching, and secure connectivity technologies
- Microsoft Teams administration and communications services
- Microsoft 365 and Azure-connected infrastructure
- Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management
- Security, resilience, and compliance across a large ICT estate

👨💻 We're looking for someone with:
- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS
- Routing and switching expertise
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, or Azure
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
