Location: Havant
Salary: Circa minimum starting salary £26,239, depending on skills and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package supporting your wellbeing, finances, and family life.
Working Pattern: 1 year fixed term | Full time | 37 hours per week
The Role
This role is fixed term for 1 year. Due to the nature of the role, this position is not suitable for remote working.
As ID Card and Access Control Administrator you will work as part of our security control room team based in Havant. You will create, print and despatch access control ID cards for SSE employees and contractors using software-based systems to enable access to offices.
You will
- Monitor computer-based request systems and respond to general email and telephone enquiries.
- Complete data entry onto software-based systems including the printing of ID cards.
- Programme ID Card data and assigning required access control levels as required.
- Work with our engineering department building new sites on our database to allow future access.
- Ensure stock of blank ID cards and accessories is monitored, maintaining a suitable level of stock.
- Ensure post and deliveries are handled on time.
You will have
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, to prioritise and deliver within deadlines.
- Previous experience of providing administration support and excellent customer service.
- Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable dealing with a busy workload and the ability to provide support where required.
- Attention to detail and a desire to drive efficiency.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
