Company Description

Are you an IAM professional looking to make an impact for an industry leader? We are currently seeking a motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to maintain the security and integrity of our organisational data. In this role, you will ensure appropriate user access, effective identity controls, and compliance, while actively supporting the continuous improvement and automation of our IAM processes.

Please note, this role will be on a 9 month fixed term basis. Working a hybrid model with 2 days at home and 3 days in head office (Birmingham B26), Monday - Friday 8.30am -5pm.

Job Description

Lifecycle & Access Management:

  • Manage user access throughout the Joiner, Mover, and Leaver lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely provisioning, role changes, and de-provisioning.

Access Governance:

  • Review and process access requests in compliance with security policies and the principle of least privilege.

Operational Support:

  • Manage IAM requests through the enterprise ticketing system, resolving queries within agreed SLAs.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Support user access reviews, certification campaigns, and audit activities.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify access control gaps and process inefficiencies, contributing to workflow automation and standardization.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, and user guidance.

In addition to these behaviours you will benefit from:

  • Previous experience as an IAM Analyst within a similar-sized / matrix organisation
  • Proven experience managing high-volume queues through an enterprise ticketing system
  • Hands-on experience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes
  • Experience supporting regular User Access Reviews
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, ideally with an ITIL Foundation qualification
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO and MFA
  • Understanding of information security, audit requirements and least privilege
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles
