Role: IAM Lead
Location: Sheffield, UK (2 days in a week to office)
Type: Inside IR35 Contract
Rate: 550 GBP Per Day
The Technical Lead will play a key role in delivering and operating enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities. Provides technical leadership across the IDAM 2.0 workstream, defining the target architecture and ensuring successful delivery of secure, scalable and supportable identity services.
The position works closely with IAM architects, business stakeholders and technology partners.
Client is undergoing a transformation of its Identity and Access Management practices including the delivery of a set of net new tools to overhaul how IAM is carried out in the industry. We are seeking experienced and dynamic product owners who have an excellent understanding of Identity Management, with a successful track record of working in complex global organisations at fast pace. The role will report to the program and be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team.
In this role, you will:
- Own the technical solution and architecture for the workstream.
- Define and maintain High Level Designs (HLDs) and Low Level Designs (LLDs).
- Lead technical decision making and technology selection.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Security and Regulatory standards.
- Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Identity-first design principles.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Review solution designs, code and infrastructure changes.
- Manage technical risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- Coordinate integration activities across internal teams and third-party suppliers.
- Support planning, estimation and technical delivery.
- Define and assure non-functional requirements including:
- Availability
- Resilience
- Performance
- Scalability
- Observability
- Security
- Ensure solutions are production-ready and operationally supportable.
- Support architecture governance, design authorities and technical steering groups.
- Champion engineering best practices, DevSecOps and continuous improvement.
