Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead | Cyber Security – UK, Hatfield
Location: UK - Hatfield Contract Type: Standard Business Unit: Cyber Security

You’ll take a pivotal role in Cyber Operations, shaping Computacenter’s Identity and Access Management (IAM)—a critical capability ensuring secure, scalable, and innovative access for employees, customers, partners, and third parties.

What you’ll do
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute a global IAM strategy aligned with business goals and cybersecurity risk posture.
- Lead and mentor a distributed international team, driving performance, engagement, and operational excellence.
- Advocate for automation, scalability, and innovative identity security approaches.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Oversee identity lifecycle management (Joiners, Movers, Leavers), ensuring timely provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts.
- Maintain governance controls compliant with corporate policy, including:
- Access reviews and entitlement management
- Compliance audits and risk reporting
- Monitor authentication behaviour across systems to strengthen threat detection and response.

Specialist Identity Capabilities
- Manage workload identities, including machine accounts, credential rotation, and service identities.
- Lead Privileged Identity Management (PIM), ensuring secure control of admin access.
- Drive data-driven insights with analytics, risk reporting, and performance trend analysis.
Collaboration & Influence
- Partner closely with Cyber Operations, GRC, OCIO, and platform teams to align IAM with broader IT/security objectives.
- Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAM, escalating urgent identity-related issues.
- Contribute to the evolution of Computacenter’s identity strategy.
What you’ll need
Experience & Technical Expertise
- Specialist knowledge of IAM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Identity lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews)
- Privileged Access Management (PIM)
- Modern authentication (MFA, conditional access, zero trust)
- Strong grasp of identity threat landscape, including:
- Credential theft, phishing, and privileged account abuse
- Identification strategies against impersonation risks
- Cybersecurity-focused curriculum with at least 7+ years in IAM/identity governance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Proven ability to lead global cybersecurity programmes and adversity experiences
- Expertise in developing/implementing security policies and best practices
- Influence at executive level with commercial awareness
- Outstanding stakeholder management, interfacing with business leaders
Certifications
- Preferred certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Secure Score (AZ-500, SC-300)
Clearance
- Must either hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance to apply
