We are currently working with a well-established firm in Wirral looking for their next IFA Admin!

Responsibilities

  • Processing new investment, pension and retirement business
  • Preparing and submitting client applications
  • Obtaining valuations and information from existing providers
  • Processing Letters of Authority and chasing providers
  • Dealing with pension transfers, investments, ISAs and other financial products
  • Working with modern investment platforms and provider systems
  • Dealing with older or legacy pension and investment products and providers
  • Processing withdrawals, contributions, switches and other client instructions
  • Preparing information ahead of client review meetings
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
  • Liaising with providers, platforms and clients by telephone and email
  • Monitoring outstanding cases and proactively chasing progress
  • Supporting advisers with the ongoing servicing of existing clients
  • General financial planning administration as required

  • Experienced in financial services administration
  • Experience with Intelligent Office & Plannr
  • Comfortable dealing with pensions and investments
  • Familiar with both modern platforms and more traditional or legacy products
  • Confident contacting providers and progressing cases
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing several client cases at the same time
  • Confident using provider websites and financial planning systems
  • Professional and friendly when dealing with clients
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a small team
  • Someone who enjoys taking responsibility for getting things done
  • Experience dealing with older life company products, legacy pensions, investment bonds and traditional provider arrangements would be particularly useful.
