IFA Administrator
Location: Swindon
Salary: Up to £34,000 + benefits
Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with hybrid working post probation
About The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive IFA Administrator to join a growing financial planning business in Swindon.
You will provide essential administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, helping ensure client reviews, ongoing servicing and new business applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
This role would suit someone with previous office administration experience who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys supporting a team. Previous financial services experience is beneficial but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Prepare client review packs, valuations and supporting documentation.
- Request policy information, valuations and statements from providers.
- Submit Letters of Authority and follow up outstanding information requests.
- Assist with ongoing client servicing and new business administration.
- Liaise with clients, providers and colleagues to resolve routine queries.
- Track outstanding tasks and keep advisers and paraplanners informed of progress.
- Follow internal procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

About You
- Previous administration or office-based experience.
- Financial services or IFA experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A positive team player who takes ownership of tasks and is keen to learn.
