Are you an experienced IFA Administrator or Client Services professional looking to join a progressive financial planning business where your work will be genuinely valued?

We are recruiting for a well-established and forward-thinking independent financial advice firm that prides itself on delivering an exceptional service to its clients. You will join a friendly and supportive Client Services team, providing high-quality administrative support to financial advisers and helping ensure every stage of the client journey runs smoothly.

Previous experience working in an IFA support, financial planning administration or wealth management administration role is essential. This is not an entry-level position, and applications without relevant industry experience cannot be considered.

The Role

As a Client Services Associate, you will support a team of advisers with the administration of new and existing business.

You will act as an important link between clients, advisers and product providers, ensuring applications are processed accurately, queries are resolved promptly and client records remain complete and up to date.

  • Processing new business applications and associated client documentation
  • Chasing providers and monitoring applications through to completion
  • Responding professionally to enquiries from clients, advisers and product providers
  • Preparing quotations, applications and key information for client meetings
  • Completing electronic identity verification and maintaining accurate client data
  • Supporting advisers with client cash management and placing trades through provider platforms
  • Maintaining client and policy records using Intelligent Office
  • Uploading, checking and organising documentation in line with company procedures
  • Managing incoming calls, correspondence and documentation
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering an efficient and consistently high standard of client service
  • Handling confidential client information securely and in accordance with regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

To Be Considered, You Must Have

  • Previous experience in an IFA administration, financial planning support or wealth management administration role
  • Experience supporting financial advisers and processing financial-services business
  • A working understanding of financial products, provider processes and the regulated advice environment
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to manage several cases and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems
  • Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • Previous experience using Intelligent Office would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
