Role Description
The IFA Administrator will provide administrative support to financial advisers, ensuring client records, documentation, and communications are accurate and up to date. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Preparing and processing new business applications
- Maintaining client files
- Updating CRM systems
- Managing correspondence with clients and providers
- Producing reports
- Handling policy valuations and reviews
- Assisting with compliance checks and regulatory documentation

This is an office-based role with a view to hybrid working 1 day per week, primarily based in Derby with the flexibility to work from home for part of the working week. The successful candidate will work closely with advisers and other team members to deliver a smooth, professional service to clients and to support the overall efficiency of the practice.

Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including document management, data entry, and diary management.
- Proficiency with office software and CRM systems, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial planning platforms.
- Desirable skills in using intelligent office back office system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in handling client queries over the phone, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and providers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client data, financial documents, and regulatory paperwork.
- Understanding of or interest in financial services, investments, pensions, and protection products; prior IFA or financial planning experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications such as GCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent; progress toward or willingness to pursue industry qualifications (e.g., CII, financial services admin) is beneficial.
