I’m working with a highly regarded independent financial planning firm based in Coventry that is looking to appoint an experienced IFA Support Administrator / Wealth Planning Assistant to join its growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional administration role and is looking to develop their career within financial planning. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced advisers, gain exposure across the full advice process and continue building your technical knowledge.
The role supports a dedicated client bank and offers a varied mix of adviser support, client liaison, business processing and technical administration.

The role will include:
- Supporting advisers throughout the client journey
- Preparing meeting packs and assisting with client reviews
- Liaising with clients, providers and third parties
- Processing new business and managing applications through to completion
- Supporting suitability reports and financial planning documentation
- Managing ongoing client servicing requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring FCA requirements are met
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment
- Strong hands-on adviser support experience
- Experience with business processing and provider interaction
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or working towards this would be advantageous
- A genuine interest in developing within financial services
