Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as an IFA Client Services Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis.

Personality
This candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of client services executives and administrators, ensuring efficient management of workflow, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the delivery of excellent client service to their internal and external clients.
You will be a confident and supportive leader who leads by example, motivating and developing their team while fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. With a strong eye for detail and quality, you will take ownership of reviewing work, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement across processes and ways of working.

Job Role
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of IFA Client Services Executives and Administrators, creating a positive and high-performing working environment
- Overseeing the allocation of workloads, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service levels
- Monitoring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures, reviewing work to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met
- Acting as the main point of escalation for complex client, adviser, and administrative queries, delivering effective solutions and exceptional customer service
- Supporting the ongoing development of the team through coaching, one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and regular team communication
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvements across the department
- Producing performance reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating with senior management to support operational success
Skills and experience

- Previous experience within financial services administration, ideally within an IFA environment
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements within a financial services setting
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with clients, advisers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage escalated queries and implement effective solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific systems, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
