This is a role that will suit an experienced financial planner who understands that the best client relationships in this profession are built quietly, carefully and over many years.

A founder-led financial planning firm with a loyal and established high-net-worth client base is looking for a financial planner to take ownership of a meaningful book of business and deliver the kind of holistic, personalised service that defines everything this firm does. The clients here are known as individuals — their families, their goals and their wider lives all inform the advice they receive — and the adviser stepping into this role will be expected to continue that approach without missing a beat.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not a new business role. It is an opportunity to do meaningful work with clients who value the relationship as much as the advice, within a firm that feels the same way about them.
